An NGO called SAVE operates Free Mashal Primary School in Charar Pind. They have classes from nursery till grade 3. Instead of following the conventional Urdu-based curriculum, they’re teaching the same English-based curriculum that we were taught in our private schools. Their teachers are mostly from the same Urdu-medium background so they’re unfamiliar with the curriculum. That’s where we’re helping the teachers and the administration. Volunteers get a chance to remember their primary school classes and give input about how they feel kids should be taught.
Timing: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m – 3 days a week
Days: Mon-Tue-Wed / Thu-Fri-Sat (2 groups)
