To the Hearts and Minds that shaped LUMUN.
Over the course of the last 7 years, LUMUN has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, LUMUN represents the region’s leading diplomatic platform for youth aimed at shaping and encouraging a cooperative world society. LUMUN is committed to training the future leaders of our world in the art of dialogue and conflict resolution, and the effort that goes behind this colossal task is both extremely difficult and extremely rewarding. LUMUN owes its success to its alumni. These men and women have weathered successive sleepless nights, juggled academics with LUMUN responsibilities, and often pushed their capacities past human limits to make LUMUN what it is today.
This is the first time that LUMUN has taken an initiative to applaud the efforts of its alumni and to remember them and their efforts for LUMUN. We have tried very hard to compile all this information and have taken a considerable amount of time to gather all the information and verify it.
Though we have tried our best to gather as much information as possible, we would like to apologize for any omissions or mistakes in this volume. This effort was a first for us and we hope to build up onwards from here towards making a LUMUN Alumni Archive and fostering ties between all our members. We urge you all to spread this information to as many alumni as possible, and in future years we would incorporate them and make the necessary changes.
In this regard we would especially like to thank Dr. Zaeem H. Jafri, Patron LUMUN, for helping us out and motivating us to collect all this information and in keeping alive the golden memories associated with LUMUN.
